An interesting video.

Gary Shipman is a comic artist I follow. He, like me, isn't great at this whole marketing thing.

But, he is an outstanding graphic artist (another one is Canaan White).

Here's a video he produced on getting paid in comics. While this doesn't really apply to getting paid as a writer, it does provide some useful insights into a different side of the publishing realm.
